CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
At Brixington Community Church (BCC) everyone is welcome.
Like many other churches we have a formal Membership that is open to all who love Jesus.
We have a formal membership because of what the Bible teaches about the nature of the church and of being a Christian.
Individual Christians are encouraged to be part of a church that is their spiritual home and community (Acts 2: 42-47)
The Christian life is to be lived in community (Ephesians 4:2-3; Philippians 1:27; Hebrews 10:25)
In 1 Timothy 3:15 the church is compared to a household;
In Ephesians 2:19-22 the church is compared to a Temple;
In Corinthians 12:12-27 the church is compared to a body;
And in Galatians 6:10 the church is compared to a family.
We would love to discuss membership with you and be able to welcome you into membership.
