We recognise that they are individuals, have different backgrounds and different needs.
We provide teaching and a variety of activities for young people.
Worship
Worship
Worship is important and includes the study and application of the word of God.
Prayer underpins everything we do.
In our services we seek the freedom to be led by the Holy Spirit.
We aim to provide the space for people to pray and receive prayer.
Discipleship
Church growth – We believe that God desires this church to grow numerically and spiritually. We encourage personal and spiritual growth at every stage of the Christian journey.
Growth Groups –
Our Growth Groups are a wonderful opportunity to build meaningful friendships, grow in your faith and encourage one another on your journey with Christ.
Meeting weekly in a relaxed and welcoming environment, we spend time studying God’s Word, praying together and sharing life with one another. There is always time for a cup of tea (and often cake… or biscuits!) as we enjoy fellowship, conversation and plenty of laughter.
These groups are a place where everyone is valued, supported and encouraged. We celebrate life’s joys, stand together through its challenges and pray for one another, growing not only in our knowledge of God’s Word but also in our love for one another.
Whether you’ve been part of the church for years or are just beginning your journey of faith, you’ll find a warm welcome and a place to belong. We truly feel like family, and we always look forward to meeting together each week.
Servanthood
Serving the community – Our aim is to demonstrate the love of God in the community.
At Brixington Community Church, we are passionate about sharing God’s love in practical ways and serving the people in our local community.
We aim to:
- Provide a safe, welcoming place where local groups and individuals can meet and build meaningful connections.
- Offer a variety of activities and events that support the needs and wellbeing of our community.
- Encourage people to use their gifts, talents and time to serve others with compassion, kindness and love.

Buildings – Our aim is for the building to be an asset valued by both church and community.
Our vision is to develop a welcoming and versatile church building that provides space for worship, fellowship and a wide range of community activities, while supporting the continued growth of our church family and serving the needs of our local community.
